Startup Funding Club invests in 25 companies across various sectors through its 2017 SEIS/EIS Funds

London, UK, April 2017 – Startup Funding Club has successfully closed the first tranche of its two 2017 SEIS/EIS Funds – the Startup Funding Club SEIS/EIS Fund and the Epicure SEIS Fund. The two funds have invested in 25 companies across various sectors, ranging from Food & Drink to Internet-of-Things technology.

In the majority of cases, the Funds have co-invested alongside Startup Funding Club’s award-winning syndicate of angel investors, thereby leveraging the amount of funding received by the companies.

The Startup Funding Club SEIS/EIS Fund is our flagship fund which has entered its fourth year of operation and now includes a total of over 80 companies.

The Epicure SEIS Fund is the first SEIS fund purely dedicated to the Food, Beverage and Wellness sector.

With the close of these funds, it is now a total of over 100 companies that have received investment from Startup Funding Club since 2014. This further strengthens SFC's position as a leading early-stage investor in the UK, already reinforced by having been named the Lead Syndicate of the Year by the UK Business Angels Association in their latest awards ceremony.
