Startup Funding Club Leads SEIS funding round into Petalite and Kashing! alongside Angel Investors

The developers of a superfast battery charging technology and a payment technology solution that simplifies life for micro-merchants are two of the latest UK-based startups that have recently closed SEIS investment rounds led by Startup Funding Club.

One of the companies that has been backed by SFC is Petalite Ltd, which has received an investment of over £250k. The Birmingham based business has developed a technology and IP for commercially ready systems to supercharge batteries to 100% in less than 15 minutes. Petalite’s technology is safe and scalable, and will be adapted and applied to other markets such as portable power supplies, mobility devices, and the automotive sector.

The other company to receive funding has been Kashing Ltd, and has secured an investment of £150k. The startup has developed an all-in-one solution that offers online and in-store payment facilities. Mainly focused on the hospitality sector, Kashing! equips the bed and breakfast, self-caterer, and guest houses with technology that allows them to take payments the way customers want to pay - on the spot, online, or with their mobile devices.

Both investments have been led by Startup Funding Club and combine funds from from its award-winning network of experienced business angels and the SFC SEIS Fund. SFC is positive that the money raised by Petalite and Kashing! will allow them to keep growing and rapidly achieve their goals.
