Startup Funding Club presents a stellar lineup of investment opportunities at its February Investor Event at The Club at The Ivy.

Startup Funding Club (SFC) celebrated last week its February Pitching & Networking event at The Club at The Ivy. The event, which was sold out, showcased a stellar lineup of startups:

CryptoClaim has engineered a solution to automate claims and improve fraud filtering by combining the power of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.

• ZOA Robotics is pioneering the development of a low-cost robotic platform, enabling the automation of industrial inspections using highly mobile robots.
• Connido developers of Bluebell, an integrated wearable solution which provides a better, more reliable and convenient baby monitoring experience.
• BECOCO is a computer vision aided platform for retailers focusing on reducing online returns and increasing basket sizes by customising product recommendations.
• Blue Skies Space is developing a new business model to sell access to scientific satellites to universities worldwide as a service.

All companies pitching are eligible for the UK Government’s Enterprise Investment Schemes (SEIS and EIS), which offer very attractive benefits for investors. Following the presentations, SFC took the opportunity to update its Angel Network on the progress of the SFC Angel Fund, which currently comprises of ten companies and will be closing at the end of March.

The evening, which was sponsored by Withersworldwide and SFC Bennett Brooks, concluded with a networking session in which entrepreneurs and investors had the chance to get into further detail about their ventures.
